Blogger Armoire prides itself on curating products that are 100% authentic and in beautiful condition. Each piece in our inventory undergoes a rigorous, multiple point inspection process by our expert, in-house authenticators. Only items that are approved with full confidence in legitimacy and authenticity, by all of our authenticators, are accepted. Any items which are deemed questionable by in-house staff are examined by a third party authentication service to determine the product's authenticity. Our consignors are required to submit a valid form of government ID at the time of consignment. Any items found not authentic are ceased and the individual is reported.

The Blogger Armoire Authentication Service has you covered! For a $100 Authentication Fee, we will give you the piece of mind in knowing whether or not your item is authentic!

In cases where items are deemed not-authentic - Do not worry! Our process and certificates of authenticity can help you with Paypal, eBay and credit card claims to help you regain funds.

Here's How it Works:

  1. Book an appointment to bring your item(s) into our downtown boutique.

  2. Allow us 2-5 Business Days to thoroughly authenticate your item(s).

  3. On the pick-up date, your item(s) will be returned to you along with Certificate of Authenticity deeming your item real or counterfeit.

 

Our Process

Our authentication process involves a thorough inspection by hand. We inspect materials, craftsmanship, details, any tags, labels, logos, hologram stickers, date and/or serial codes. Extensive research is then conducted on each item’s style and brand.  Once a match is found, side-by-side comparisons and examination of the item in question is conducted.

Luxury goods are constructed with some of the world’s finest materials. Our in-house authenticators have a vast knowledge of the wide variety of textile and animal materials utilized in luxury pieces like leathers, furs, and exotic skins, such as mink, crocodile, python, and many more.

Craftsmanship

Designer pieces are known for exquisite craftsmanship. Logos, seaming, finishing, stitching and quilting are closely examined and compared to ensure they coincide with the designers’ standards for quality and craftsmanship.

Details & Lettering

Each designer uses details that are unique to their brand. Blogger Armoire examines all hardware used for accurate weight and colour. Fonts and markings are all checked for accuracy. In addition to this, we confirm the proper measurements of the style. Lastly, the lining is examined to ensure a direct match with the corresponding style.
